Garlic Graters from Provence
As a Francophile, and a previous Provence resident, I am delighted to see blogs appearing regarding the wonderful ceramic graters you can buy in Provence. Well good news, you dont have to go there to buy them! I have been selling ceramic garlic graters in many colours and styles for some years here in the UK and they are wonderful little items, and very decorative too.
Anyone who is interested in them please do contact me - I have many useful tips available for them plus a complete set of items to use with your garlic cloves/bulbs etc. So simple to use. Take a garlic clove, place inside a silicone peeler (item 1), simply roll and the skin is completely removed from the bulb - no smelly hands! Then take your fabulous ceramic grater (item 2) and rub the garlic across the serated centrepiece, and this will reduce it to a lovely fine dice or puree depending how long you do it for. Simply brush (item 3) the garlic into your dish that you are preparing and VOILA !!
These delightful little sets are superb. You can also use the ceramic grater to create a lovely dipping dish by simply adding olive oil, balsamic or any flavoured oil, and serve with croutons.
